The day of the shoot was one of those sunny / cloudy days, where the light is changing all the time. As I shoot in manual mode, its a real pain in the butt. The question is do you go ahead and change all your settings or wait for the cloud to pass over. I generally prefer to wait for the cloud to pass and stick with my sunny settings, but if its a big cloud then I'll make the change. As a result there was a lot of sitting/lying around waiting for the right light. This resulted in a shoot that should have taken 2 hours, taking twice that length of time.
If you follow my blog on a regular basis you will have noticed that I was really active in the beginning of May and then on a hiatus since then. I had to cancel a couple of shoots around the Bermuda Day weekend due to a pulled back muscle. Once I was well enough to shoot, I did this shoot with Sophie, but was then unable to devote much time to editing, due to a busy couple of weeks at work. I've also had to cancel a couple of shoots due to inclement weather over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully the remainder of June will be a little more active.
