The main objective of a glamour shoot is capture the models physique and muscle definition. My standard lighting for fashion and beauty is very straight on and soft, it fills in the shadows and lessens the definition. So this shoot turned out to be experimental, trying to find the right balance of ambient and flash and at the same time trying to maintain the shadow details. Added to the complexity was that it was one of those days where the ambient light was constantly changing as the clouds passed in front of the sun. The resulting images are a combination of flash lit and natural light.
