First of all a big thanks to Dan and Heather Soares for letting us have the use of their pool on a Sunday afternoon.
Technical Stuff
This was shot in mid afternoon with the sun coming from behind the model and off to the right. I used a circular polariser which I think effects the exposure by 1 stop. I started shooting with the 5D mk iii and due to the current inability of the pocket wizards to use hyper sync I kept the shutter speed at 1/160 sec which at ISO 100 was giving an ambient reading of about F5.6-F8. I shot at the ambient exposure and used 2 strobes for fill light. I had wanted to use the 64" PLM as the light source but as it was a little windy and I didnt have a lighting assistant to hold it I settled for the Beauty Dish on one strobe and the standard reflector on the other. Having 2 strobes helped keep the recycle times down.
Here are the pics.
